Bay Area native recording artist and songwriter, thủy, is setting herself apart in today’s pop R&B scene.

Raised with a rich Vietnamese heritage they grew up inspired by early 2000s pop and R&B idols like Britney Spears, Brandy, and Mariah Carey.

2023 proved to be a life-changing, reaffirming year as ‘girls like me don't cry’, became a viral phenomenon and catapulted her into becoming a globally recognized star. The single has gone to generate over 10M TikTok videos, over 3 billion views on YouTube Shorts and more than 30 million views on YouTube. The track became a cultural lexicon and was named one of the Top 10 Global Songs on TikTok in 2023.    

Crossing over 650 million streams to date, thuy shows no signs of slowing down, making chart-topping hits, and proving her star power with sold-out international tours, major festival billings, and collaborations with major brands such as Google, Samsung, Levi’s McDonald’s, Zappos, crocs, Foot Locker, and PUMA.
