What's On at the Fortune Theatre, London

Fortune Theatre was built between 1922 to 1924 and was the first theatre to be built in London after the First World War. This Grade II listed building has a seating capacity of 432 and is the current home of the award-winning Operation Mincemeat.

Since the war, Fortune Theatre has been a receiving house, with actors such as Dirk Bogarde, Maureen Lipman, and Dame Judy Dench gracing the stage. It has hosted an eclectic mix of shows, plays, musicals, dance and comedy. Fortune Theatre is also known for hosting The Woman In Black, its longest running play which ran for 33 years!

Described as ‘the most intimate of theatres’, Fortune Theatre hosted performances by ENSA during World War II, and so it is a delight for it to now be home to Operation Mincemeat as they follow the twisted secret mission that won the war! You can book tickets online below for Fortune Theatre.
