Located in the heart of the West End, The Phoenix Theatre opened in 1930 with the premiere of Noel Coward’s Private Lives, starring Noel Coward himself! With a neoclassical exterior and a distinguished Italian style interior, The Phoenix is a Grade II listed Theatre with a seating capacity of 1028 making it a welcome theatre for the world’s best productions.
The Phoenix has hosted the works of outstanding practitioners including Noel Coward, John Gielgud, Stephen Sondheim and Stehen Schwartz. It has also seen the worlds biggest stars perform, including Julia McKenzie, Laurence Olivier, and Cuba Gooding Jnr.
