@sohoplace is the West Ends first new theatre in over 50 years. Receiving 5 Olivier nominations within its first year, @sohoplace opened its doors in 2022. Owned by theatre producer Nica Burns and operated by Nimax Theatres, the theatre is a state of the art venue with a flexible in the round seating capacity of 602.
Built as the heart of a new development in Soho, @sohoplace is perfectly nestled in a hub of vibrancy amongst retail, offices, and a vivacious piazza. This modern theatre offers a rehearsal room, green room, bar, outside terrace, and a flexible theatre space all under one roof. With exceptional acoustics, @sohoplace is cementing itself as a West End favourite.
@sohoplace has already delivered a mix of drama, plays, comedy drama, Shakespeare, Greek Tragedy, musicals and two world premiere productions, with shows such as Marvellous, As You Like It, Medea, Brokeback Mountain, and The Little Big Things. @sohoplace is currently home to the RSC’s production of Kyoto. Food and drink purchased outside of a Nimax Theatre cannot be taken in. However, sealed bottles of water will be allowed.
