What's On at the Donmar Warehouse, London

The Donmar Warehouse opened in 1977 after being acquired by the Royal Shakespeare Company. It has a seating capacity of 251. It is a not for profit off West End Theatre that has seen Sam Mendes, Michael Grandage, Josie Rourke, Michael Longhurst and Tim Sheader as artistic directors.

The Donmar produces exceptional productions of classic plays, musicals, Shakespeare, premieres, and produces new writing. It became an independent producing house in 1992. In 2011 a collaboration with the National Theatre Live enabled its production of King Lear to be shown around the world.

The Donmar Warehouse attracts world class stars including Kit Harrington, David Tennant, Cush Jumbo, Nicole Kidman, Sir Ian McKellen and Ewan McGregor. There are always plenty of plays, shows, musicals, and productions to look forward to at Donmar. Intimate Apparel is running until August 2025.
