WHAT'S ON AT THE APOLLO THEATRE, LONDON
The Apollo Theatre is in the heart of London’s West End on Shaftesbury Avenue and is a stunning Grade II listed theatre. It first opened its doors in 1901 and was specifically designed for musical entertainment, hence being named after the Greek God of Arts.
The Apollo Theatre became part of Nimax Theatres in 2005 and has a seating capacity of 658, making it a beautifully intimate venue. It has been home to many award-winning musicals plays, comedies and dramas including Rain Man, The Curious Incident Of The Dog In The Night-Time, 2:22 A Ghost Story, Derren Brown, and of course Everybody’s Talking About Jamie.
The Apollo, one of the few theatres in London to be freehold, boasts a four-tiered auditorium with three balconies. It is currently home to Fawlty Towers: The Play, where it made its UK premiere. You can book tickets online below for the Apollo Theatre.
