The Saints '73-'78

One of the most influential punk bands of all time, Australian rockers The Saints were formed in Brisbane, Queensland in 1973 by singer-songwriter Chris Bailey, drummer Ivor Hay, and guitarist-songwriter Ed Kuepper.
According to Bob Geldof, "Rock music in the seventies was changed by three bands—the Sex Pistols, the Ramones and the Saints" - and they originally employed fast tempos, raucous vocals and a "buzzsaw" guitar sound that helped initiate punk rock in Australia and identified them with the greater international movement.
Following the death of Chris Bailey in 2022, aged 65, they reformed as The Saints 73-78.
