Susi Evans & Szilvia Csaranko
Clarinet and accordion folk and klezmer music duo from London & Hannover, Susi Evans and Szilvia Csaranko perform old Yiddish melodies from a remarkable archive of manuscripts collected in Jewish villages in Ukraine between 1912 to 1914.
Susi and Szilvia are two exceptional musicians who are passionate about the tradition of klezmer music and other European folk styles.
They perform internationally as a clarinet and accordion duo and are dedicated to teaching klezmer workshops for students of all levels.
They are the authors of the Klezmer Playbook and founders of the KlezmerPlaybook CLUB; an international, online learning community.
They teach regularly at Yiddish Summer Weimar and Klezfest London.
