Sonic pathfinding Reading shoegazers Slowdive are a band whose reach goes far beyond just influencing music.
With tracks which are simultaneously expansive and direct, their stargazing alchemy helped their debut album"Just for a Day" (with its single "Catch the Breeze") reach the UK Top 40 in 1991, while their eponymous fourth album - their first in 22 years - reached no.16 in 2017.
