After supporting the Strokes and the White Stripes, New York's art punk trio the Yeah Yeah Yeahs earned a significant buzz for their arty yet sexy take on garage punk.

Their clean sound and eclectic songwriting won critical acclaim and a fair amount of commercial success: "Date With The Night" reached no.16 in the UK singles charts, and the gorgeous ballad "Maps" became a hit in 2004 with their four albums all reaching the UK Top 20.
