The Trinidad born US urban electro-pop songwriter, rapper and producer has appeared on the biggest music and lifestyle magazines including Spin, the NME, Rolling Stone, Billboard, Vogue, Maxim, Village Voice, GQ and even the New York Times.
The immediate pigeonhole would suggest indie-friendly hip hop, but it's pretty clear that the layers of influence run far deeper than that. Unearthly chants, tinny beats, ticking riffs and a constant electro-whirr barely even touch upon London's array of tricks. Equal parts soulful and playful, almost evoking a delicate French house influence, an unaffected bubblegum bounce and sprinkling of discordant rockabilly, has had the music press and the hipster massive alike clamouring for his every note.
