Kid Creole & The Coconuts

Incorporating a variety of styles and influences, in particular a mix of disco and Latin American, Caribbean, and Cab Calloway styles conceptually inspired by the big band era, Platinum-selling "Tropical Gangsters" Kid Creole and the Coconuts scored Top 10 hits in the 80s with "Annie, I'm Not Your Daddy", "I'm a Wonderful Thing, Baby", and "Stool Pigeon".
Fronted by August Darnell, the Coconuts trio of female backing vocalists/dancers are now made up of Roos van Rossum and Charlotte de Graaf (both from the Netherlands) and Kristina Hanford from Memphis Tennessee, who are managed by Darnell's now wife, Eva Tudor-Jones, who was Mama Coconut for more than 20 years.
