Go For Broke Theatre Company present "Clouds and Concrete", an intimate and surreal drama by Luka Knight about a struggling writer, Clay, and his wife, Sammie, as their marriage unravels under the weight of unspoken grief, artistic frustration, and emotional isolation.
The play interweaves reality and fantasy, with the mysterious figures of Mr. and Ms. Cloud acting as both puppeteers of Clay’s mind and embodiments of his and Sammie’s subconscious struggles.
Through fragmented timelines and poetic storytelling, the play explores love, ambition, loss, and the inability to communicate. As the past and present blur, Clay and Sammie must decide whether their connection can be salvaged or if they are doomed to drift apart like clouds over concrete.
